We can solve sand scarcity in construction and glass waste issues at the same time
What an excellent idea to solve two environmental issues at once:
1. Due to the huge amount of sand we use in construction, coasts are eroding and we are losing our beaches!
2. At the same time, we have a huge pile of glass waste on landfills that are causing environmental issues as well.
So, by using crushed glass waste instead of sand, we solve these issues both at the same time. This is very clearly explained in this TED talk 👇
