Turning saltwater into drinkable freshwater

Freshwater scarcity is a hot topic, especially in areas experiencing a heat wave. For example this month, Italy has asked citizens to reduce water usage to a minimum. Luckily, we can turn saltwater into drinkable freshwater, even at home.
