Reaping the fruits of life
People often say "I want to grow old".
I then wonder whether it's really about reaching an old age.
Yes, I love to stay around for a long time too,
but more importantly,
while I'm here,
I want to live healthily, meaningfully.
Or as we say in Dutch:
reap the fruits of life.
