Hugging someone hello
When I moved to Germany, I noticed a difference:
When seeing each other, they give a hug.
In The Netherlands I was used to giving three kisses on the cheeks.
I love this German habit, as I feel a hug is more heartwarming.
So, as you can guess, adopting this new way was easy.
