My strategy when buying things

My strategy when buying things is that I come up with what I need and then buy it. This as opposed to looking in flyers and leaflets, to look for things that I can use. I believe that I this way buy a lot less stuff, which is more environmentally friendly. One of the things I bought this way were the spikes for my shoes, so that I can go for a winter walk.
