#413 - Eating seasonal fruits and vegetables

This time of the year is the time of pumpkins. I've been eating it several times over the last few weeks, as eating fruits and vegetables in the season they are harvested is more sustainable than later in the year, for example because it requires less energy for storage (e.g. refrigerators). But also, this pumpkin for example didn’t have to be processed or supplemented with preservatives.
