If we attend to it too late
In The Little Prince by A. de Saint-Exupéry, baobab trees endanger the prince's planet. I treat the climate crisis as the prince did with baobabs: do what I can to stop it as soon as possible, because we will never be able to get rid of it if we attend to it too late.
