#155 - Installing solar (thermal) panels on roof

On the roof of the house where I live, solar thermal panels are installed.

This installation allows water to be heated by the warmth of the sun.

It saves a lot of energy and therefore reduces CO2-emission.

An alternative is installing solar panels that convert heat of the sun into electricity.
